Pagid RS 7-1
PAGID RS have launched a new compound specifically designed for use on rear axles.
RS7-1 has a very stable µ level of 0.35 from cold to 500°c, with a very linear in-stop behavior with no ramping up, or drop off in µ during a stop. The characteristics of this compound are ideally suited for the rear axle of front wheel drive cars, but work well also on rear wheel drive and 4 wheel drive cars.
Due to new automated production processes and use of fewer and less complex raw ingredients RS7-1 is priced at a lower level than regular RS compounds such as RS4-2. The pads also come complete with OEM accessories such as piston clips, spring clips and also edge chamfers where applicable.
The compound is produced only in pad shapes that are used only on rear axles, as this compound should not be used for front axle applications.
