Pagid RS 4-2-2
A Carbon based high performance road compound with a medium friction level, a development similar to RS4-2-1 using new developments in composition.
RS4-2-2 exhibits good wear characteristics and is also very easy in terms of disc wear and low brake dust. The perfect combination of low temperature performance, good initial bite, low disc wear and user friendliness for high performance road use. In comparison to RS4-2-1 this compound offers slightly higher bite and general friction level, and a slightly more responsive pedal feel.
This compound along with RS4-2-1 forms the basis for the PAGID Sport pad range, same performance benefits but with the addition of dark blue or black coating also on the friction surface, anti-noise shims on most pads and also piston clips and similar hardware fitted to the pads.
The special coating assists with the initial bedding stage, disintegrating during the first few brake applications without any loss of performance normally associated with green fade.
